I am on Team Green, still

Baby was all shy and wouldn't show the goods, will you belive that. Yep after all the convincing family did on me to get us to find out and share the sex, it is all for nothing. Baby crossed her/his legs each time the tec tried to look. She tried four or five times too. We actually were laughing about it by the end. Tech was having a good time with us and said "I give you a 50% chance of having a boy, and a 50% chance of you having a girl!"

As for health of baby. Everything looked fine to me but it will be this Friday before we find out what the Dr says. I am a little nervous about that but to my eye the spine looked good and same with the heart. Baby bounced around a lot and I never felt a thing. Confirming my suspicion that I hadn't felt him/her yet. Dh and I are undecided about going to a 3d u/s place, his bro's wedding is this month and we have a vacation planned too, so money could get tight toward the end of the month. We are thinking next month we will go.

Great! I'm sure the report will be all good. Do you want to do the 3D u/s to determine gender? I did look up the Wiki entry but it didn't mention it.

Glad you could see movement! I'm a week ahead of you and still don't feel anything myself.

I have to tell you, I am sure it is a boy. I have about a 95% accuracy rate, but those are all people I know IRL. So, this is the first internet gender reading I've given! But seriously, I really feel boy.

Also, don't worry, if there had been something seriously wrong, they would have gotten the doc and not waited to tell you.

So glad the baby seemed to be doing okay!

I am just so glad the baby is healthy. That's what matters the most (not to minimize that you, me and the rest of the planet really wanted to know the sex) and that you got to see him/her for a little while. So if you don't do the 3D thing until next month, when is your next dr. visit w/ ultrasound?

Thanks for your kind words! I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that everything turns out good.

I can't believe you're little peanut wouldn't play nice! But I'm so glad to hear he/she is healthy!

As long as you're on team "healthy" that's what matters: I know that's how you feel.

Too funny about the tech saying a 50-50 chance of gender :-)
Maybe next time...
